About

Ideas are easy to have.

Making them real is the interesting part.

WHAT THIS IS

Saptarv is an umbrella for work that would otherwise be scattered. A dictionary, a job-matching tool, a travel log, a webmail client, a typeface still being drawn. None of them started as a business plan. Each one started because something was missing, or worth keeping, or simply worth trying.

The seven worlds are not categories so much as directions. An idea can become software, or an archive, or a piece of culture, or a business, or nothing at all. What the worlds do is make it obvious which direction a given thing went — and that there is room for the ones that have not been made yet.

SOFTWARE ENGINEER · BUILDER · EXPLORER

I started with computers because I wanted to know how things worked. That turned into building them myself — applications, systems, experiments, and a few projects with no practical reason to exist beyond wanting to make them.

The engineering is mostly backend: systems, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure. I like that side of it, but I am just as interested in what sits around the code — the idea, the experience, the problem it was meant to solve.

Outside code: places, music, folk traditions, horses, and a long list of things I want to understand. I spend time in Gujarat and the Himalayas, documenting whatever seems worth keeping.

Some of what is in this index is technical. Some is cultural. Some began as a completely unreasonable idea. There is no single category it all fits into, and I do not think there needs to be.

  1. BuildSoftware, products, tools, systems, experiments.
  2. ExploreMountains, places, ideas, technology, culture.
  3. CreateDigital experiences, visual identities, work between technology and art.
  4. DocumentStories, traditions, knowledge, journeys. Things worth remembering.
