NOTES
The idea
Give it one selfie and it finds that person across a whole photo and video library — on the home PC, with nothing uploaded. It also notices who keeps appearing, so people can be named once and found by name afterwards.
What it does
- Find a person from a selfie, with strict, balanced or loose matching
- Faces are grouped into people you can name, merge, and correct with “not them”
- Photos of one person together with another
- A timeline by month, an “on this day” view, and a map of photos with a location
- Trips and events grouped automatically by date gaps and place
- Find similar shots: exact copies, resaved versions, bursts — with the best shot picked
- Search by words such as “beach” or “birthday”, with optional deeper captions
- Videos are searchable too: see who is in a video and the moment they appear
- Clean-up suggestions for screenshots, dark photos and blurry shots
- Names and answers are backed up automatically, so work is never lost
