The idea
Printed Gujarati reference books are hard to search. Shabda Kosh turns scanned pages straight into structured entries, loads them into a database, and looks words up with the original meaning and where it came from.
What it does
- Search a word and see results grouped: exact headwords, close spellings, and mentions inside other definitions
- Browse the whole dictionary page by page, filtered by book and by first letter on a Gujarati alphabet strip
- Follow “see also” cross-references with one click
- Fix or remove a wrong entry from the page itself
- Random word suggestions when the search box is empty
